Watch THE ROAD TO TAHOE, part of the "Touch the Past" series produced by the County Library and the County Museum in 2014.  This video presents a short history on the history of an important transportation corridor through El Dorado County.  It was called the PLACERVILLE-CARSON CITY WAGON ROAD, then THE LINCOLN HIGHWAY, and now HIGHWAY 50.

This video is based upon a book of the same name, matching historical photographs with current photographs of the same view, with information about these buildings and sites in Placerville's history.
